Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she quickly relocated to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from finding out that she enjoyed acting. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the privilege of working alongside some great TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. She was A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. She then migrated to the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated several times for her performance in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she won the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She portrayed Marisol Deko, Horatio Caine's wife. Most recent TV appearance was as Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. The family she was raised in was strict and religious parents. Milano's professional career started at seven, when her babysitter took her to an audition. Four girls were selected from over 1000 applicants. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials and off Broadway productions including the musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
