Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she quickly relocated to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from finding out that she enjoyed acting. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived drama The Mountain.
